LIVE@edu Student E-mail

Live@edu will become the official student e-mail system during Fall semester 2011. In the meantime, you may start using the new system now if you wish but you will need to either check your U-mail account or forward your mail to the new account (see the migration instructions below).

Accessing your Live@edu account:

Login: NDUS.Identifier@my.und.edu (same ID as Campus Connection, Blackboard etc.)
E.G. if you use jane.doe to log into Campus Connection, you will use jane.doe@my.und.edu to log into Live@edu

Password: (same password as you use for Campus Connection, Blackboard etc.)

When you log in for the first time, you will need to specify your time zone.

Problems logging on for the first time?

Some passwords may not have been set in Live@edu during the initial load. If you are experiencing problems logging on fhe first time, please try resetting your password at: https://idm.und.edu/idm/user/login.jsp . Please note that this will also change the password you use in Campus Connection, Blackboard etc.

  • Message size limit (includes any attachments): 25MB
  • Recipient limit (maximum number recipients allowed in To:, CC:, and Bcc: fields): 100
  • Recipient rate limit (maximum number of recipients that can receive email from a single mailbox in 24 hour period): 500
  • Subject length: 255 characters
  • Deleted Items folder retention period: 30 days (after 30 days they are automatically removed)
  • Junk E-mail folder retention period: 30 days (after 30 days items are automatically removed)
